Danish Lighting Society go Guerrilla!

The Danish Lighting Society undertook the first Copenhagen Guerrilla Lighting on 15th November 2011 as a precursor to the Danish Lighting day – an annual conference and award ceremony.

Although bitterly cold and the night of a National Football game, hundreds of people turned out to see three sites transformed in the locale of the University and Jean Nouvels Concert Hall. Each site was designed by a different lighting practise and one site went out live on Danish National TV!

Credits to Lighting Grontmij for the building site, Rambøll Lighing for the underside of the Metro and ÅF Lighting for the housing estate.

Check out site three for the bold use of props and light drawing!
