Guerrilla Lighting will strike Belfast for the first time Thursday 19th March. We’re promoting sustainable, sensitive and exciting architectural lighting design.
We are challenging common perceptions of lighting the urban environment, and increasing awareness of the potential for intelligent lighting by involving large groups of people in highly recognisable, prominent places. The lighting designs will temporarily reveal the architecture that hides in even the gloomiest, most intimidating corners of the city using coloured filters, low-energy LEDs and carefully placed hand-held rechargeable luminaires.
We need you!! To become a Guerrilla, please register by emailing helen@guerrillalighting.net

Guerrilla LIGHTWAVE on 22nd January 2009 will be the second time we’ve struck Dublin in just a few months. We’re targeting Ulster Bank’s Group Centre, Trinity College West Front and St Mark’s Church.
First Guerrilla Lighting Event in Finland took place in City of Jyväskylä on 30.9. and second in Helsinki on 1.10.2008! Brilliant results!
Head Guerrilla: Martin Lupton. Guerrilla designers: Antti Hiltunen and Juho Strömmer. Backup force: Annukka Larsen, City of Jyväskylä. More pictures in Gallery and from: http://www.jyvaskyla.fi/yhdyskuntatoimi/cityoflight/fi/valoon2008/guerilla

Five poems, based on words about lighting, will be displayed at the five Guerrilla Lighting locations on Friday 23rd November.
